Vector files are needed for screen printing, Sublimation & heat press applications.
Vector files – e.g. EPS, AI & vector PDF are made up of scalable objects- image has no jaggedness & can be printed at any resolution, & as a result can be scaled up or down without any loss in quality.
Artwork must be supplied in a vector format (high resolution) if not additional fees may apply for the creation or conversion of artwork.
Bitmap Raster files – e.g. Jpeg, Tiff & PNG are made up of several tiny pixels
When you resize a bitmap file & resave it, some of the quality of the original image can be lost resulting in a more pixelated image.
